What is YSHIFT?

YSHIFT ( Young Super Happy Incredibly Fun Team) is a non profit youth advisory committee for the Phoenix Foundation of the Boundary Communities. Often referred to as " Youth in Philanthropy" the YSHIFT group is youth helping youth in our community and surrounding area.

Who is YSHIFT?

We are a group of youth from the Boundary area who volunteer our time to raise money in many fun ways and then return it to youth in our community by way of grants

How does YSHIFT work?

When funds are raised or donated, they are split and half placed into an endownment which we then grant the intrest gained from the entire sum. We will always have the endownment to ensure there is always money to give back to the youth. The other half of the funds are used for our youth projects and to cover our own operation costs.

Why join YSHIFT?

There are many reasons to join YSHIFT. Some do it for volunteer hours and it looks good on your resume! Some join to meet others, get involved in the community and experience community service work, and some just want to see a difference in our community for the youth
