Some Granting Highlights 2006

The Library staff is thrilled with the addition of the book cart at the book drop. At the library the book drop in the front door receives books when the library is closed. By purchasing a depressible book cart the books do not drop any distance.. This will save on mending and replacement costs in the long run and extend the life of these library resources.

In the past, part of the start up process for opening the pool include turning on the gas heater to warm the water to a bearable temperature. Two days after installing the new solar blanket, the water temperature was so warm patrons were complaining that it wasn't "refreshing" enough, so we turned the gas heater off. With the success of the solar blanket, we are anticipating a significant decrease in cost of heating the pool.
